Explore this south-Indian eco-village and its cultural, environmental, social, and spiritual research with recent study-abroad student Kelty Carew. A “universal township in the making,” Auroville seeks human unity-in-diversity.
Kelty is a graduate of Monona Grove High School and the UW-Madison, and completed a study circle on The Natural Step from TNS Monona and coursework from Midwest Permaculture.
Green Tuesdays: Films & Lectures on Sustainability is the enlightening and entertaining series of lectures, films, and conversations on sustainable living sponsored by The Natural Step Monona and the Monona Public Library.
Green Tuesdays are on the second and fifth Tuesdays of the month. They start at 6:30 and run until 8:00, but great conversations often push us a bit past that hour.
New this year – Whole Foods will be serving treats beforehand, so come early for delightful food and drink.
Also new this year, we plan on having the May through August presentations outdoors, weather-permitting. These would be hands-on things such as demonstrations of electric cars, lawn tools, and the like, or lessons in sustainable gardening practices.
Return to The Natural Step Monona website again soon. More presenters and films will be announced shortly.
